Hello friends!
Welcome to my humble online gallery! It includes a lot of the work that I've done in the past 10+ years as well as some prints and other goodies that I've been making along the way. I started as an oil painter and later on I started exploring other mediums and techniques. During the pandemic, I've been playing around with watercolors, colored pencils and even polymer clay. I hope you enjoy browsing around my page.
A little about me:
I am an elementary school teacher. I love working with kids, but just recently I decided to take a leap of faith and dive fully into the art world. At the moment I'm putting in my hours in my studio as a full time artist. So far, so good!
What inspires me? Where do I get my ideas? I don't know. Maybe from my travels, or from my daily walks around my neighborhood or from browsing around TJ maxx. I'm not sure. I do know that I rely on my art to heal and process ife in general. Art also challenges me, brings me joy and a sense of satisfaction all at the same time. So needless to say, each one of my paintings hold a very special place in my heart. Painting has been a genuine companion to me throughout life.
I currently live in San Francisco and attend Jean Henry School of Art. It's a neat place with like minded individuals that get together to paint and learn from each other every week. Other than that, I'm livin' la vida loca and exploring the art scene in San Francisco. If you have any cool ideas and you want to collab on something, please reach out!
